Niseko’s snow is simply magical – always lighter, fluffier and drier than anywhere else. Most people know Niseko plainly as one of the best ski destinations in the world. With average snowfalls of more than 1,500 cm (595 inches) per year, it is certainly a title we can confidently claim. Our location directly exposed to the incoming cool air from Siberia across the Sea of Japan means snowfalls arrive like trains, often daily during peak season.
This is a true play land, with amazing skiing and snowboarding experiences awaiting you. There are plenty of choices for you to learn, or to advance your level further. Multi-lingual ski-schools for children and adult beginners, to individual coaching in advanced one-on-one classes are available during the ski season.
